- Location Data: We may collect your precise GPS location when you mark attendance to ensure you are within the designated institutional boundaries (geofencing).
- Device Information: We may collect device identifiers to ensure secure login sessions.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To register and authenticate users within the system.
- To accurately record daily attendance using facial recognition and location data.
- To provide attendance reports to institutional administrators (Principals, Super Admins).
- To prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
3. Data Storage and Retention
Your data is securely stored on our designated servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access.
- Biometric Data: Facial templates are stored securely and are only used for the automated verification process. They are not shared with third parties.
- Retention: We retain your data as long as you are actively enrolled or employed at the institution. Upon graduation or termination, your biometric data and location logs will be securely deleted in accordance with the institution's data retention policies.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data is only accessible to authorized institutional administrators (e.g., College Principals, Department Commissioners) for official administrative purposes.
